The Coming of Elijah Matrix by E Paul, 2005 This matrix, dubbed The Coming of Elijah, was a long time in the making and is still a work in progress. From very early on, I decided to only use terms that were (what I call) inmatrix contiguous. In other words, all the terms present within the matrix form continuous letterstrings; there are no spaces between letters—whether vertical, horizontal or diagonal. This greatly reduces the odds of finding even small (short) terms, let alone longer terms, of which there are more than a few. An example of this is the finding the term, year 5766 (Hebrew calendar from October 4, 2005 to September 22, 2006; or roughly 2006 for we heathen). In order for year 5766 to be included in the matrix, it would have to occur in close proximity to the main term, Come near! Elijah; and it would have to have 1 of 4 possible letterskips (determined by the ELS of the main term at +10609). Acceptable ELS skips would be: + or 10608, + or 10609, + or 10610, or + or 1. In all of the Tanakh, year 5766 occurs only two times at an ELS that would allow it to be included within the matrix. The matrix area represents approximately 1/667th of the Tanakh; therefore the odds of finding 5766 within the total area of the matrix would be approx. 2 chances in 667 or 1 chance in about 333. In that light, its presence within the matrix is quite remarkable although its recognized Rvalue is negative (the attendant Rvalue reflects only the odds that 5766 will occur within the matrix of that size at any ELS, not a matrix with the specific main term shown, and with the author's ELS constraints for the year term). The clear message of the matrix is notable. The matrix seems to cover a spectrum of perspectives ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd person ) under the umbrella of the main concept ( Elijah’s coming and those things symptomatic of that time). The majority of terms within the matrix seem to be simple (and rather subjective) observations or statements of (fact?), e.g., wonderful is the king. Some terms seem to have God as their subject: 'he is my firstborn son.' A few seem to be from the perspective God's people: 'birth for us.' The tenses vary widely as well, including past tense: 'my truth visited', future tense: 'they will run away; the days of elijah' and the present tense: 'the world is the place of burning...' It is clearly apocalyptic and quite unambiguous in what it suggests (in regards to the coming of the prophetic endtimes Elijah). The reader is free to glean what he/she will, and is free to search for more terms (which I will be happy to include in my own efforts so long as the terms seem consistent with its totality). There are a few relatively enigmatic terms — 'He anointed a twin', etc.—which are only present in the matrix because they're consistent with some of my personal suspicions. The matrix as you now see it has only (only?) 72 terms; but as of this writing, my working version of the matrix has 117 terms. I will be happy to send the updated matrix with its report as an email attachment to anyone who wishes to receive it with one caveat. Roy (your webmaster) has occasionally had to tweak the translations to more accurately reflect the Hebrew meaning and all the ADDITIONAL terms have not passed under his brow (the hammer). Having said that, you'll find it quite accurate. Webmaster note: Calculating the matrix using conservative Rvalue methods, gives us a total matrix Rvalue of 101.175. That gives us matrix odds of 1 chance in 1.49624 times 10 to the 101st power. That means shifting the decimal point for 1.49624, 101 places to the right! Readers should examine all the terms in their totality and determine whether the entire message adequately presents the case for the prediction. After all, once a matrix becomes statistically significant, what matters most is whether the message is cogent and understandable.
